Thunderstorms are going to be possible late tonight into early Saturday morning. We may see a couple of strong to severe storms out of this.
If severe weather does pick up overnight, you can find the warnings here: www.kbsi23.com/severe-weather-alerts/
And the radar can be found here: www.kbsi23.com/weather/
The threat is low, but not zero. There’s at least a chance for wind, hail, flooding, and an isolated tornado.
The overall risk is a Marginal Risk, which is a level 1 out of 5, so on the lower end of things.
The risk for a tornado is also low (2%), but it’s not zero.
If a tornado does form, it would be a quick spin up and would happen fast. So if storms are approaching your area, get to a safe place!
Hail is also possible, but it is only a small risk. Storms will have the potential for mainly small hail, but a few stones may get to the 1″ size at times.
Severe wind gusts will also be possible on an off with any storm that does move through.
These storms will be out of the area by early Saturday morning leaving us with another mild day.
